Do you want to feel confident and prepared for labor and birth? Whether you're a first time mom, planning a home birth, wanting to labor at home as long as possible, wanting to feel confident laboring at the hospital, or a second time mom wanting more from her next experience, our Get Birth Ready class will give you the tools you need to prepare for the birth you want. Unlike a typical childbirth ed class, this is an active, hands-on learning experience where we will be practicing gentle birth preparation exercises, labor positions, and comfort measures. This class is designed for third trimester couples- we welcome mama and her partner or mama and another birth support person. Our class focuses on preparing expecting moms both mentally and physically for labor. We teach you how to move through labor positions confidently and teach the partners how to use massage techniques, counter pressure, and other comfort measures to support mom during labor.
